COYOTE ROUND-UP/SILENT AUCTION
- A SUCCESSFUL NIGHT -
This year's auction, thanks to parents, teachers, students, staff, local businesses, and volunteers, was a big success. The children played games at the round-up and young and old found good deals at the auction. Preliminary results show that we raised over $16,000 for our school and our children. NEW FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY
Canyon View Elementary and the Foundation are embarking on a new and exciting yearlong fundraising campaign through TheGivingDoor.com.
The Giving Door is an online auction site, similar to eBay and Craigslist, except that a portion (the amount defined by you) of the proceeds from each item can be donated to your school.
Here's how to participate (as Buyer or Seller)

- Click on Register
- Select Buyer or Seller and follow the instructions
- Remember to indicate Canyon View Elementary School Foundation as your benefactor if you are selling items

FOUNDATION ELECTION RESULTS
The Canyon View Foundation held its annual election of officers at the March 9th meeting. The following individuals have agreed to serve as Board officers during the upcoming 2010/2011 calender year:
President - Lois Peterson
Vice President - Steve Smith
Treasurer - Tiena Sniffin
Secretary - Heather Ryan
We thank them for agreeing to serve our Foundation and our children in these roles.
