ABOUT MELANIE FOSTER-JENSEN

Melanie Foster-Jensen attended three UC universities earning her bachelor’s degree in microbiology and doctorate in immunology.  She completed her education with a three-year post-doctorate position with grant money from the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society.  Melanie and her family moved to San Diego five years ago, and she now has three little girls ages 4, 6 and 8 (with a 1st grader and a 3rd grader at Canyon View) years old.  Science and technology play an important part in Melanie’s life, and the Canyon View Foundation attracted her attention.  Her goal is to aid in raising money to increase the quality of Canyon View’s science curriculum as well as assist with other foundation goals.
