ABOUT TIENA SNIFFIN

Tiena Sniffin and her husband moved to Rancho Penasquitos so their children could benefit from the outstanding schools in the Poway School District.  They have a 4th grader at Canyon View, a 8th grader at Mesa Verde Middle School, and a 10th grader at Westview High.  She has been the Foundation Treasurer since it’s inception in 2006.  She holds a BA in Finance from Arizona State University and has worked for General Dynamics and Computer Sciences Corporation where she continues to work part-time.  Along with volunteering for the Canyon View Foundation, Tiena has been a team parent on many of her children’s sports teams and has chaired the Coyote Roundup in past years.  She believes in the words her father always said “Many hands make light work!” and hopes that the work of the Foundation will continue to help enrich the education of the children at Canyon View.
